Thank you for considering to volunteer with us! 

 

We welcome LP Brown families, as well as broader community support! Please see below for ongoing volunteer opportunities, or sign up for specific events via Signup Genius. If you have an idea, or are interested in helping in a new way, please contact us by completing the form below. We appreciate everyone who volunteers their  time with our school and look forward to hearing from you!

 

Please be mindful that some of the following activities may be affected by Covid-19 social distancing guidelines and protocols.

• Consider being a classroom volunteer! Our teachers always appreciate an extra hand, plus helping a young student to progress in reading or another subject area is often rewarding. Please make sure you are a registered volunteer and to check in with the office prior to participating with a class.
   

• We encourage you to come volunteer at lunchtime recess as part of our PALs (Playground Activity Leaders) program! This is from 12:15-1:15 daily and you may come for all, or part of it. We will have toys and games for you to use while you hang out with our scholars. Please make sure you are a registered volunteer and check in with the office before heading out to the playground.
   

• Our garden and forest need your help! During non-school hours, please come pull weeds in the garden, or ivy in the forest area. Grounds are typically open, so feel free to come at your leisure, or fill out the form below to find out about our "outdoor work parties"!
   

• Please bring in snacks! Remember to help scholars "snack smart" to learn at their best. This means look for low processed snacks with little to no added sugars. Consider clementines, dried fruit, string cheese, smart pop popcorn or carrots.
